AXIGEN Mail Server Beta - Description
AXIGEN Mail Server is a carrier class messaging solution,backed up by first rate tech support. AXIGEN is available for many Linux distributions (Gentoo,Redhat/Fedora Core, Slackware,Debian,Ubuntu,Mandrake/Mandriva,SUSE),FreeBSD,OpenBSD,NetBSD,Solaris.
Main AXIGEN services: -SMTP/ESMTP modules,powerful Mail Processing engine,script interface for custom filtering -IMAP4,POP3 protocols -WebMail for fast email access using web browsers All services are controlled from centralized WEB/CLI Administration;
Connectivity and architecture: -Clustering support -Mail storage with index based access -In depth connection control -SMTP Firewall -SNMP support -Built-in Milter support -FTP Backup -Delegated Administration -Account Classes;
Server Security: -Multilevel filtering system -Integration with over 16 AV/AS applications -Script interface for external custom filters -Authentication:plain,CRAM MD5,Kerberos,LDAP -SSL/TLS encryption -Filters Wizard;
Groupware: -Shared folders and permissions with other (groups of) users -Manage sharing permissions through WebMail,Outlook and IMAP email clients supporting ACL -Permissions are backed-up and restored using the FTP-Backup -Create Special folders (calendar,tasks etc) -Grant permissions on specific folders to an user group;inheritance over the folder tree -Account level:'Free/Busy' permission allows seeing one's free/busy status based on their calendar events; also, the'Send Mail As' permission allows sending emails in the name of another user;
Time management and mobility: -Personal Organizer:Calendar,Tasks,Journal,Notes and collaborative support available from WebMail and Outlook -AXIGEN Outlook Connector implements most Exchange-like features -Outlook Rules Wizard -Public and domain contacts are now available in email client Outlook -WebMail:HTML editor;RPOP templates -Create temporary email addresses from WebMail;limitations for creating such addresses are available in WebAdmin -Delayed delivery of messages;
